Day by day
Day 1Lusaka to Kafue
Collected from your Lusaka accommodation, with a stop for drinks and supplies, then the drive into Kafue National Park. Camp on the banks of the Kafue River under shade.
Days 2-4Central Kafue
Based in the Chunga region. Full days of game viewing across an area cut by small rivers, leaving waterholes through the dry season. Wild dog range widely here, alongside cheetah and lion.
Day 5Lake Itezhi-Tezhi
A morning drive in central Kafue, then south to the lake. Camp at Hippo Bay on the shore and watch game come down to drink.
Day 6Livingstone
Out of Kafue and on to Livingstone. White-water rafting, the sundowner drift, canoeing and Devils Pool are all on offer; we drop you at your accommodation in town and can arrange activities and lodging.
